Lifelines Foundation Executive Director honored with Woman’s Day Award

Posted by Vic at 11:11 PM

Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders is proud to announce that Woman’s Day Magazine has honored Dawn Montaner, Executive Director, for her work on eating disorders. Every year Woman’s Day Magazine receives nomination from all over the United States regarding outstanding community service work. This year Dawn was among eight selected to be featured in the November 16th issue of Woman’s Day Magazine. The national exposure to 20 million readers will serve to bring Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders to the limelight and will also serve to spotlight eating disorders. Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders will also receive a check for $500 for their work.

We offer our congratulations to Dawn and to Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders for the educational, awareness and prevention work on behalf of those suffering from eating disorders and their families.

Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders would like to express our since appreciation to AMA Nystrom for their generosity.

Those of us at Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders would like to express our most sincere appreciation to Mr. Morris Shaw, Ms. Denise Griffith, and Mr. Paul Nystrom for their generosity. Lifelines Foundation has developed a series of educational materials whose cost is being funded by the Texas Department of Health, but the materials will not be available until September. With presentations continuing throughout Texas the need for the posters became more urgent. Morris Shaw, Paul Nystrom and Denise Griffith generously donated the printing of 200 posters to Lifelines Foundation for Eating Disorders. Based on the previous cost estimate for having two posters printed is a $5,000 in-kind donation from AMA Nystrom. There are no words to express how grateful we are when we are given such a fantastic gift; it only confirms what we already know…in-kind really means one-of-a –kind when it comes to an organization like AMA Nystrom. Please remember them when you are considering printing jobs in the future, they are a true friend of the community. AMA Nystrom 254-776-8860, 920 N. Valley Mills Drive, Waco, Texas 76710.

Thank you again Morris, Denise, and Paul!
